Basic Usage and Operation Tips
Before using the meter, ensure the test leads are properly connected to the correct input terminals. Select the appropriate measurement mode and range for the parameter you intend to measure. When measuring voltage or current, always start with the highest range to prevent damage. Use the data hold function to freeze readings for easier observation. Always disconnect the test leads from the circuit before switching measurement modes.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
If the meter displays erratic or no readings, check the battery level and replace it if necessary. Inspect test leads for damage or wear and replace if faulty. Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth; avoid using solvents or abrasive materials. If the meter fails to power on or shows inconsistent results, refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact authorized service personnel.
Safety Reminder
Always observe proper safety precautions when working with electrical circuits. Do not exceed the maximum input limits specified in the manual. Avoid measuring live circuits with damaged test leads or a faulty meter. Use personal protective equipment as required and ensure the device is used in a dry, stable environment to prevent electric shock or damage.
