Overview
The Model 270 Programmable Function Generator is a compact, half-rack width instrument designed for bench or automated test equipment (ATE) use. It offers a frequency range from 0.01 Hz to 12 MHz and can generate various waveforms including sine, triangle, square, and externally controlled waveforms with amplitudes from 0.01 to 10 Vp-p. The device supports continuous, gated, or triggered operational modes and features GPIB (IEEE 488) standard for easy programming. It includes 200 stored settings with battery backup for fast recall and is protected against excessive voltages and short circuits.
