Installation and setup of the oscilloscope require maintaining the operating environment within specific parameters: a temperature range of 5 to 40 °C, maximum relative humidity of 80% (non-condensing) up to 31 °C, decreasing linearly to 50% at 40 °C, and an altitude limit of 2000 meters. The oscilloscope operates from a 115 V or 220 V AC power source and automatically adapts to the line voltage. It is protected by two 6.3 A/250 V AC fuses, which should only be replaced with the specified type and rating. The device must be connected to a safety ground via a three-wire electrical cord. After powering on, the oscilloscope performs auto-calibration and tests its ADCs and memories, taking about 10 seconds.
