The manual includes the following safety warnings and precautions:
– This is a Safety Class I instrument, which means it is provided with a protective earthing ground incorporated in the power cord. The mains plug should only be inserted into a socket outlet with a protective earth contact. Interrupting the protective conductor inside or outside the instrument is dangerous and prohibited.
– Do not operate the product in an explosive atmosphere or in the presence of flammable gases or fumes.
– Do not use repaired fuses or short-circuited fuseholders. For continued protection against fire, replace the line fuses only with fuses of the same voltage, current rating, and type.
– Do not perform procedures involving cover or shield removal unless you are qualified to do so. Operating personnel should not remove equipment covers or shields.
