This product and related documentation must be reviewed for familiarization with safety markings and instructions before operation. It is designed and tested according to safety requirements and supplied in a safe condition. The product is a Safety Class I instrument with a protective earthing ground incorporated in the power cord. The mains plug should only be inserted in a socket outlet with a protective earth contact. Any interruption of the protective conductor is likely to make the product dangerous, and intentional interruption is prohibited. If the protection is impaired, the instrument must be made inoperative and secured against unintended operation.

If energized via an auto transformer, ensure the common terminal is connected to the earth terminal of the power source. The product must be used in a normal condition with all means for protection intact. There are no operator serviceable parts; servicing should be referred to qualified personnel. To prevent electrical shock, do not remove covers, and disconnect the product from all voltage sources while it is being opened. Internal capacitors may remain live for 5 seconds after disconnecting the plug from its power supply.

Replace line fuses only with 250 V fuses of the same current rating and type. Always use the three-prong AC power cord supplied with the product to ensure adequate earth grounding. The product is designed for indoor use only, in Installation Category II and Pollution Degree 2 environments. Disconnect the instrument from mains before cleaning, and use a dry or slightly dampened cloth for external cleaning. Ventilation must not be restricted when installing the product in a cabinet, and forced convection is required if the total power dissipated in the cabinet exceeds 800 watts.
