Overview
The HP 8481D is a diode power sensor designed to measure power levels ranging from -70 dBm to -20 dBm (100 pW to 10 µW) at frequencies between 10 MHz and 18 GHz. It is compatible with several HP power meters, including the HP 435B, HP 436A, HP 437B, HP 438A, and HP 70100A, but not the HP 435A. The sensor comes with an HP 11708A 30 dB Attenuator for calibration purposes. The manual provides information on initial inspection, operation, performance tests, troubleshooting, and repair of the power sensor.
