Installation / Setup

The installation instructions for the HX-50 ZBZ include several steps involving wiring and component placement. Key steps include removing resistor R107 from pin 4 of V101 and grounding it, unsoldering the gray wire from the K102 relay coil terminal and connecting it to the ZBZ relay terminal #1, and installing a 6.8K, 1 watt resistor between pin 5 of V109 and an unused lug of a terminal strip. The ZBZ relay K1 should be mounted to a bracket, and the microphone cable clamp should be removed to mount the relay to the shield plate. Additionally, a 1.5K, 1/2 watt resistor and a 10 PF capacitor should be soldered to the relay terminals, along with various wires. An operating switch for the ZBZ, which is not supplied, should be connected between the selected TB101 terminal and ground.
