Ground the instrument to minimize shock hazard by connecting the chassis and cabinet to an electrical ground using the three-conductor ac power cable. Do not operate the instrument in an explosive atmosphere with flammable gases or fumes. Keep away from live circuits, and do not remove instrument covers; component replacement and internal adjustments must be made by qualified personnel. Do not service or adjust alone; ensure another person capable of rendering first aid is present. Do not substitute parts or modify the instrument; return it to a Hewlett-Packard service office for repairs. Dangerous voltages are present; use extreme caution when handling, testing, and adjusting.
