3. Replace line fuses only with fuses of the same voltage, current rating, and type. Do not use repaired fuses or short-circuited fuse holders.
4. Keep away from live circuits: Operating personnel must not remove equipment covers or shields. Procedures involving the removal of covers or shields are for service-trained personnel only.
5. Do not operate damaged equipment: If the safety protection features have been impaired, remove power and do not use the product until safe operation is verified by service-trained personnel.
6. Do not service or adjust alone: Ensure another person capable of rendering first aid and resuscitation is present during internal service or adjustment.
7. Do not substitute parts or modify equipment: Return the product to Valhalla Scientific for service and repair to maintain safety features.
8. Measuring high voltage is hazardous: All multimeter input terminals must be considered hazardous when inputs greater than 42 V (dc or peak) are connected.
9. Permanent wiring of hazardous voltage or sources capable of delivering greater than 150VA should be labeled, fused, or protected against accidental bridging or equipment failure.
10. Do not leave measurement terminals energized when not in use.
