The following general safety precautions must be observed during all phases of operation of the Agilent Technologies 8920B RF Communications Test Set:
1. This product is a Safety Class I instrument and must be used as specified in the operation instructions to maintain its protective features.
2. All LEDs used are Class I LEDs as per IEC 60825-1.
3. The product is designed for indoor use in an installation category II, pollution degree 2 environment, with a maximum relative humidity of 95% and altitudes up to 2000 meters.
4. Proper ventilation must be ensured when installing the product in a cabinet.
5. Before applying power, verify the product’s line voltage setting, correct fuse installation, and adherence to safety precautions.
6. The instrument chassis and cover must be connected to an electrical protective earth ground to minimize shock hazard.
