This page will provide answers to frequently asked questions about Manuals Plus and the products we sell. If your question is not answered here, please contact us via email and we will be glad to provide assistance.
Are the manuals you sell new or used? Answer: All of the manuals we currently sell are sold as "Used". Some manuals we have in stock may be new but are still classified by us as used. We also sell "Reproduced" manuals where we have been licensed by the manufacturer to do so.
When will my order ship? Answer: We aim to have all orders shipped within a day of receipt. Currently we are still in the moving and unpacking process, so there may be a 3-4 day delay due to this. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Can I return a manual? Answer: We do accept returns for a 30 day period, but you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. If there is a problem with your order, contact us and we will correct it for you.
Can I buy just a copy of the schematics? Answer: No. All instrument manuals are copyrighted. As a policy we will not make copies of any portion of these manuals and we will not section out any manuals.
Are the manuals the most up-to-date versions? Answer: In some cases no. Not all manufacturers update instrument manuals on a regular basis, while others do. This is why you should provide your instrument serial number when requesting a manual. In some cases we have update supplements we can provide.
Will the manuals be legible and in reasonable condition? Answer: Yes. All manuals we sell are guaranteed to be readable, complete, and in good condition. If this is not the case, you will be informed prior to shipment of your order.
Can I borrow, rent, or trade manuals? Answer: No. It is too difficult for us to track loaned manuals and this practice encourages copying which is against the law. Since we do not purchase manuals in small quantities, we will not consider trades. The cost to update our inventories with just a few manuals is too great.
Why don't you buy small quantities of manuals? Answer: As stated in the previous answer, it is extremely costly and time consuming to enter small quantities of manuals into our inventory. If we were to do this it would make our manuals more expensive to our customers.
